During the first week of June 2026, INHERIT will participate in the Innovation Industry Construction (IC2) Congress in Santander, Spain.
The First Congress on Innovation in Construction, Building, Infrastructure and Concessions (IC2), taking place in Santander from 1–5 June 2026, represents a unique opportunity for international networking, collaboration, and knowledge exchange among stakeholders across the construction sector.
As part of the programme, our partner CEMOSA will represent INHERIT with a presentation entitled: “De la conservación a la gestión inteligente: uso del gemelo digital modular para la sostenibilidad, preservación y accesibilidad del patrimonio construido”
The session will provide an important opportunity to present INHERIT’s Digital Twin to key stakeholders in the construction industry. By integrating detailed Building Information Models (BIM) with real-time sensor data, the Digital Twin creates an intelligent digital environment that supports building performance analysis, issue detection, and the simulation of interventions before their implementation.
The IC2 Congress brings together three major drivers of innovation and knowledge in Spain:
- The Spanish Construction Technology Platform (PTEC), which unites more than 160 companies active in construction innovation.
- The University of Cantabria, through its prestigious School of Civil Engineering, internationally recognised for research and academic excellence in civil infrastructure and building.
- The Network of Construction Clusters, which connects more than 1,000 companies and organisations committed to driving transformation across the construction sector.
