INHERIT takes part in the RENOVERTY project's webinar focused on the necessity for energy efficiency policies
Mark your calendars! On 22 January at 10:00 a.m., INHERIT takes part in the RENOVERTY project’s webinar “Quantifying the Impact: Addressing Energy Poverty Through Efficiency”.
The European Union’s journey toward climate neutrality by 2050 needs a deep economic transformation to ensure a fair and inclusive energy transition. Energy efficiency and addressing energy poverty are central to this process, but significant knowledge and practice gaps remain.
The webinar “Quantifying the Impact: Addressing Energy Poverty Through Efficiency” aims to address these challenges by focusing on energy efficiency policies tailored to specific, often overlooked regions like rural areas. It will explore how quantification tools can enhance the design and implementation of such policies by assessing their effectiveness, guiding resource allocation, and providing data-driven insights.
Four projects—RENOVERTY, ODYSSEE-MURE, INHERIT, and SEED-MICAT—will present their findings on using these tools to develop targeted, effective policies. The event will offer policymakers and stakeholders an opportunity to discuss the implications of these approaches for creating tailored solutions to energy efficiency and energy poverty challenges in diverse contexts.
