The INHERIT project is pleased to announce its participation in the New European Bauhaus Festival through an online Satellite Event “Creating a New Contemporary: NEB-led Research and Tools for Management in Cultural Heritage”.
The event culminates the INHERIT project webinar series “Sustainable and Future-Proof Cultural Heritage Buildings”.

Date: 12 June 2026
Time: 10:30-12:00 CEST
Location: Online via Microsoft Teams

The Multi-Stakeholder Forum Spotlight Session “Beautiful – Sustainable – Together. NEB-aligned Instruments and Tools for Cultural Heritage (Building) Management,” together with the following Table Briefings and Tool Demonstrations, will take participants into emerging NEB-aligned approaches shaping the future of cultural heritage transformation. Exploring more people-centred, informed and future-oriented pathways, the session will showcase innovative methods including Heritage BIM, City Information Modelling, Social Life-Cycle Assessment (S-LCA) and green investment models, highlighting how these tools can contribute to more beautiful, sustainable and inclusive cultural heritage revitalisation.

The event is hosted by the INHERIT consortium partners – Centre for Social Innovation (ZSI) and the Local Governments for Sustainability (ICLEI EUROPE) and it is addressed to researchers, practitioners, educators, and cultural heritage managers.

The event will explore innovative tools, methods and practices that support cultural heritage transformation in line with the EU New European Bauhaus (NEB) values of beauty, sustainability and inclusion. Through interactive exchange formats and dedicated Reflection Circles, participants will engage with practical experiences, emerging ideas and shared challenges while connecting with fellow members of the INHERIT Multi-Stakeholder Forum community. The session aims to inspire dialogue, spark new perspectives and strengthen collaborative thinking around future pathways for cultural heritage management in the spirit of the New European Bauhaus.

For this webinar, four speakers from different organisations will join us, each of them presenting one developed tool or method:

To support collective reflection and knowledge sharing, key insights from the discussion will be captured live through graphic recording and strategic visualisation by illustrator Miriam Barton, creating a visual narrative of the dialogue and emerging perspectives.
