Bouygues Immobilier

French pilot leader (pilot 2)

Bouygues Immobilier is a leading French urban developer and real estate company. For almost 70 years, it has been active across the entire property value chain, from development to operation and promotion. Its job is to design living spaces that take into account all users at all levels, to listen to clients and local authorities and to work with them to create useful, human and sustainable spaces, offering places to live, work and socialise. As Bouygues is committed to limiting its negative impact and maximising its positive impact on the environment, it also aims to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by 28% by 2030 and to increase biodiversity in its projects by 25%, by 2025.

Role in the project

Bouygues Immobilier is providing a pilot building with its subsidiary Nouveau Siècle. The pilot is a landmark building in the city centre of Metz, France. Through INHERIT, Bouygues will support the transformation of a 4-stories commercial building into family housing, providing thermal insulation inside the building. It will also promote nature and biodiversity, through patios and vegetal patches.

Other partners of the project

INHERIT’s consortium gathers 18 partners from 13 European countries, involved in the project at various levels, covering the social, technological, and scientific layer, as well as the communication, dissemination and exploitation activities.
