Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS)

The Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS) of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) was founded in 1992 to support the performance of top-quality research, development activities and the provision of scientific service to private and public bodies. Its mission is to support the deployment, the realization and the growth of the research priorities of ECE mainly through seeking, pursuing and acquiring research funding via the competitive calls for research proposals that the European Commission had instigated.

Role in the project

ICCS participates through its decision support system laboratory EPU-NTUA and is the project’s scientific coordinator. It contributes to service development and supply, implementation plans and tracking, and project demonstration.

Other partners of the project

INHERIT’s consortium gathers 18 partners from 13 European countries, involved in the project at various levels, covering the social, technological, and scientific layer, as well as the communication, dissemination and exploitation activities.
